As soon as the daughters soccer game is over, weather be damned, I'm going to the lake for a test drive. Dewinterized yesterday (did I plug everying up that is supposed to be?), took off my pretty red exhaust flap tape, installed a second batter, and cleaned all of the dust and winter grime off. This afternoon, we'll see how that new rudder and refurbed prop work.

Glad to hear you got out the other day. Nice! What's your top-end with the re-cond. prop? I'm getting 46 on the PP with my stainless 4-blade.

The first pic of the Marina looks awfull familiar. It's been 3 yaers since the wife and I have been to Vegas, but last time we hooked up with Rebel Tours for a Hummer cruse of the desert with a stop at the marina to see just how low the lake was. Looks like it's still pretty low!

Top end is 48.5 which is the same as it was before it was recon'd. However, it does seem to be smoother, ie. less vibration (now there is none!).

Yep, still way down. But it looks like it went up a couple of feet over the winter, which is not what it is supposed to do. Hope all this bad weather we are having is filling the Rockies up with snow so Powell and Lake Mead can get back to normal.

The water is a crisp 61 deg. We went boogie boarding at Santa Barbara last week and the ocean was 52. 52 deg in humid air is warmer than 61 deg in dry air. This big lake takes a while to warm up. Gets into the 80s over the summer. Was 75 in mid November. That was a treat!
