New boat owner here. Never owned one before. Although after buying the Tristar 190, I started reading this board and realized I bought the "stepchild" :D of the Mastercraft family of tow boats. It's in awesome shape and I got about 2K worth of "new stuff" with it so I feel like I got a great deal.

Anyway, I wanted to publicly express my sincere appreciation for the folks at Rambo Marine. Not sure if they ever look at this board, but next time you talk with Mr. Pearson or Junior, make sure to tell them they made me a "TMC for life" based on how they treated me.

Welcome. I've had lots of good conversation with Lex in parts at Rambo. They're a top notch dealer.

If you call what I do ski.... boat goes, I tumble and let go. If I get up and realize I'm up, I tumble. Then we start all over.

But to answer question. We go to Weiss Lake, but I live in North Alabama. Too many places to name. I imagine I'll try them all before summer's over.

Welcome to the board.

I've got an 88 TriStar 190 - it has been a great boat for the last 4 years. I'm not far away - we ski on Logan Martin. I've got a cabin on the water in Lincoln, just south of I-20 on the east side of the bridge. Let me know if you are ever skiing down there and we'll get together.

Hey Trainwreck welcome to the board! Let me just give you my :twocents: on a thing or two! First of all, ya gotta really watch out for this charactor named TMC#1! He will throw so much :D at you, you won't know what hit you! I've seen this guy in action, and I'll tell you, of all the people I know, he's one of em'! Seriously though, its a good thing you don't have a teak platform, cause he'll try to tell you all this stuff about sanding it 4000 times and oiling it down 6200 times to get it to shine like his platform, when in reality, he accidently spilled some marine varnish on his platform, took a picture and posted it. NOW you just can't believe the caos he hasa caused!!!!!!!!! But after all this, you STILL gotta love him! :worthy:

Wow, I'm Honored! Thanks to Butcherblock Formica I don't have a teak oil issue anymore?

trainwreck, watch skidog, he has issues with female body parts and the fact they should normally be confined. He is the "EXTRACTOR"?

I use to go rock climbing in Center at Sand Rock. Is that close to Weiss Lake?

Centre AL is on Weiss Lake.

Byrdman, Did you come to Sand Rock just for the rock climbing. If so, you drove right past some great single pitch climbing in Steele Alabama.

Trainwreck, where in N. Alabama are you?

I work in Huntsville and live in Somerville.
