We are taking a week vacation this summer to visit our family cottage in Northern Michigan, and will have access to a great ski lake.

The week isn't enough to justify the purchase of a portable course, but we'd like to take advantage of the great water for course skiing.

Does anyone in the Midwest have access to a portable course they'd be willing to rent out for a week in August?

I say Midwest because shipping it most likely wouldn't be ecconomical -- I'd just pick it up prior to the vacation. Please let me know if you, or anyone you know, would be interested in renting your course out for a fee.

Funny you mention that system. Depending on how I do on the request on this site, we're still very interested in purchasing that set-up.

Been keeping an eye on it for a while. If we could buy one for around $400.00 or so, it'd probably make the decision a lot easier.

How much are you willing to pay to rent??

For that time period, maybe around $100.00 or so.

hmmm.... don't think I could get the wife convinced of that in order to purchase this one. Good luck in your hunt!

I see the deal your working on with her. Always a tough sell.

How about this proposal, maybe we could do $200.00, for a two year contract -- roughly same dates both years.

The $200.00 would be paid up front. Possibly we could meet around the Lima, OH area for drop-off/pick-up. I'd have to run this one past the wife as well, but food for thought.

With the recent course discussion, just thought I'd give my thread a bump. Thanks.

What happened with the 2 year rental contract?

Haven't heard much from jrandol lately. It's OK though, he had some tough negotiations with the boss, and he's not too close to me in Detroit. Maybe it will re-surface.

All the best to him and his family. Hope your recovery is going well, J.

Hey PeteS, have to say I haven't broached the subject to hard yet w/ the wife. Trying to focus on getting healthy again and then bring it up. If you get a good opportunity elsewhere though you should jump on it.

Concentrate on the most important things in your life. Again, best to you and yours.
