Need help and some input on a prop choice for my 90 prostar with pwr slot trans.Stock prop is a Federal 14" LH.What should I replace it with in the 4 blade category???? Wakeboarding and slalom use.Thanks. :banana:

i would stick with 3 blade, and go for a cnc'd oj or acme. i just changed to an acme last summer and love it. there's a big comparo on here somewhere. if you search you'll find it.

Here is the prop test East Tx did a while back. It was for a 1:1 but will give an idea of the CNC props improvement over stock.

I had a 92 with a power slot, went from the stock to a 4 blade OJ. Was a nice improvement, little softer wake, less rooster tail, and unbelievable hole shot.

If your lake has some debris, as TVA lakes tend to, I would shy away from the machined props, as they are more fragile then the cast props, in my experience.
