Have fun! We just got 12 inches of snow! Our lake looked that smooth this weekend - only trouble was it was all ice -about 10 inches thick.

I came across this picture from last year's portfolio and thought it was pretty neat. Not sure if it belongs in this thread but oh well. Deep water start off the boom...

Well seein yall put some pics up don't mind a few of mine.... Just got the boat in this weekend and this is the first tow, had time after work and had nice water what are the odds.

My prefered method of getting up as I still don't foot enough kind of a begginer I guess. Dad was on the phone and he normally pulls but didnt' have much wake time left so mom pulled, looks like dad got out in time to see me stand up for the first time and take a LONG ride around the bend.

Um, is that a slalom rope?

05-31-2006, 02:08 AM
i assume you're coming off of a kneeboard??? thats exactly how i learnt 20 yrs ago......you'll want to get yourself a barefoot rope for when you start to learn to deep-start....less "twang" in the rope.........

keep it up

KEEP YA TOES UP

Yea guys thats the slalom rope.... not my usual barefoot rope but just got the boat in and stuff and couldn't find my footin rope and wanted to get a quick run in... I normally use a good pre-stretched barefooting rope. Thanks though.

Erk, quit being a footing snob.(jk) I always here this and that about how proud footers are because all they need is a rope. I like to see people who can just go with whatever is in the boat. I've been known to do a 2 ski jump out off kid's trainers with a wakeboard rope, because that's all they had in the boat! It's all about putting those feet in the water...however you can!

And cutto's to you for try'n and succeding from a kneeboard.
Either w/ or w/out the proper barefoot equipment, fact of the matter is you got out there and that says ALOT!

Pure raw determination! Com'n foot w/ us anytime!
Awesum ... great job! :headbang:

i've been out doing alot of footing. So far this year i've learned deep starts, tumble ups and one foots. The back deep is on its way and so is the tumble turn. :D (and i have to say my new barefoot suit was key to my success)
