I am replacing all of my 4 tires on my 1995 225VRS Dual axle trailer. It is in storage and I need to find out what size tires I need to order. If there is a brand that you would reccomend, that would be great!

Off the top of my head, at least on the single axle trailer, I beleive it's 215/75/14. I use Goodyear marathons. On a dual axle trailer, with blowouts not being such a potential catastrophe, you could probably get away with a lesser tire though.

www.tirerack.com is your friend.

Goodyear, without a doubt.

I had a bad experience with Carlisle's (both of them at the same time)...

I second that, and third, and fourth.....etc..... No more for me.

My trailer is a tandem axle, and the tire sizes are the same as Eastie posted above. I would stick with the Marathons.

I agree with the marathons's. My dad had Carlisles on his trailer and had 2 blow outs in the first 500 miles. He took it back to the dealer to have a new set put on, and had a third blowout on one of the old tires that had not be replaced. I have never had a blowout with my Marathons and I easily trailer over 5,000 miles per year.
