hey i see in your pics you have a dog on boat. have you ever had any problems with its claws on interior?

No, she rides great!
When we are cruising she will lay in the observer's seat or back on the back seat. My wife will usually put a towel down so she lays on that. Knock on wood she has never put a mark on the vinyl.
Now the platform gets a bit scratched from where she jumps off but nothing that a little teak oil hasn't taken care of.

I will say that it is just my wife and I when she goes on the boat, ie. no friends or other family. If my wife or I are skiing I hook her leash to the pylon, because when we fall she thinks we need her to come rescue us. :D

can she get on the platform by herself or do you have one of those dog ladders?

I put her harness on her and lift her up by that. It does get pretty tiring lifting 70 lbs up out of the water!
No ladder, where can I find one?
I thought about building something but have not gotten around to it...

I have seen one of those water ladders for dogs in one of the many watersport mags that get sent to me.

I've looked at this in the past, but very expensive (like $350). You could make something like that a lot cheaper.

Check Cabela's or Bass Pro for a ladder for her. I think I remember seeing one around there last fall.
