Speaking of screwing around I bought my 04 X-Star on May 9th ... I'm still waiting for TeamMC welcome package... I called about 4-5 times and they keep telling me it has either been sent out or it will be in the few days ... Any other experiences like this one?

It took them awhile to send out mine also, but I got some cool stuff so it was worth waiting.

Is this package something that you get with a new boat or when you join team MC or both?

Team MC...most dealers will pay for your first year when you buy a boat, so ask them if they enrolled you before you pay your money.

ap, did you buy your x10 from texasmc? I saw it listed for sale there, didn't I?

yes, I am buying a 2005 X9 from them and really need to sell my boat. They are helping me. If you know anybody please let me know, I can flex on the price a little.

I will spread the word. Are you happy with them as a dealer both for the deal you got and the service afterward?

I have been waiting 11 1/2 months  - have called six or seven times (maybe its us Canucks?). Wrote MC a letter - just got a reply from John Dorton that it would be looked into... finally...

they are good. Great deal on boat, great follow up, great proshop, and the best service department......that is why I am buying another boat from them. Would recommend Texas Mastercraft.

My sister is in Houston and she didn't like the MC store on North 45 almost to Conroe.

Cool, thanks for the testimonial!
ap, we are the pathetic ones that have a boat for sale in our signature on here.

Just to throw in my $.02, I have had great experiences with Daryl Moore Marine in Houston (the one on 45-N near Conroe). I really like the fact that they do their maintenance on an "appointment only" basis. All the work on my boat done by them was same-day service. They also cut me a sweet deal on my boat.

My dealings with Texas MC have, by and large, been great, too. The guy that works the parts department has always been very helpful. Unfortunately, when I needed them the most, after my bent shaft episode, they never called me back after several phone calls.

WOW
I like this site! This really allows us to get specific experiences from owners of the same boats using the same dealers. you are about halfway to either one of them arent you doug?

Has anyone in Atlanta, Georgia ever dealt with JOA marine. I have bought my boat from them and serviced with them and find they are very pushy and don't cut any deals. Has anyone ever had these problems with them?

The DAB updates are being worked on. This was suppossed to be finished weeks ago (that's why I said a while ago that it would only be a couple weeks). However, this application is outsourced and there is not much we can do to speed this up. It is an item on the top of my list but I can't do much on my end here... There's more to the story but I will just leave it at that...

Ric

Doug your post about a bent shaft reminded me of something.
If you guys are having trouble getting new shafts from dealers, we can make them here (maybe for less $).
I have no specs, so anyone with a bent shaft would have to send me theirs so I could mfg a new one from the sample.
We do it all the time for industry, why not for boats huh?

I never received emails from them in the past...maybe it is because I saved a boat on design a boat.

Mag & gene dobies do you have any boats saved on design a boat?

The X-45 will not be shown in DAB for another couple of months. We are waiting for photography and the developers still have to incorporate it into the application.

The only thing that changed on the vinyl is the actual texture of it. The accents and where they are located have not changed...

I was looking at the X9, the graphics and colors were the same as 04. Maybe I missed something.

Thanks admin, I could have sworn that I'd seen a different accent stripe configuration on the 197 motor cover in the 05 catalog and wondered if the design a boat was innacurate.

looked again...I thought it was my computer, but I went back and found that the new orange and red are not listed as colors on any of the boats models. Also, the X9 page doesn't look updated because the boat still has the old tower. The rest of the models have the correct tower, so the new DAB is up, but doesn't look complete.

Hey Admin, are they still working on the DAB?
