bunk boards for 76 S&S

Hi,
I am currently restoring my trailer. This is my first MC, and I am not sure if it has the correct bunk boards on it. They are 14 feet long. Is this right for a 76? I can't find carpet 14 feet long to use. The longest covered bunk board in Overton's is 6 feet. The longest bunk carpet they sell is 12 feet. I don't want to piece it if possible. Any body got any info. to help?

Check Lowe's or Home depot. They typically stock marine grade carpet that is great for your trailer bunks. I believe they come in 4 foot wide rolls. Simply buy 14 feet of it, cut it in half and you now have carpet for each bunk. Good luck. Post some pics of that boat!!

We got some carpet from menards. Don't buy astro-turf, it scrathes the hull like crazy!

The carpet that Lowe's sells is called olefin marine carpet. It is 6' wide and as long as you want it to be.

On my boat trailer (93), the bunks are 12x6x2. Iused a strip of carpet along the top of each bunk, then another piece that wrapped around them.
