This would be cool on a mastercraft.
This boat was also at the 2005 sema show. (Painted with Hot Hues)

if it were my boat i'd have a sideview picture of a barefooter on a shortline painted on the side of the boat. so everytime you see the boat from the side, in the water or not, it looks like there's a skier shortlining off the boom.

Steve, I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question.

Is that a picture of the boat/trailer painted on the real boat in scale? The background painting "behind" the boat throws me off.

Looks like a concept sketching of the boat.

Basically the artists rendering of the boat before its painted, so that everyone is on the same page w/ the scheme.

It is a picture of the boat pasted on a close up picture of the boat that is used as the background.
Not a stupid question.

It's a real pic. It is a 1996 28 ft. Cherokee totally reworked.
This boat has won many awards and was designed for the poker run theme.

Guess it is the shape of the rise and how blunt the boat appears to be that makes it confusing. The Trailer wheels look cartooned as well. But that's just my opinion.

What could possibley justify a $65,000 paint job!!... maybe if the paint wan't paint, it was gold or something, but not just plain paint... hmmmm

It's not just plain paint and many, many hours of detailed work by highly skilled painters. Think about it, every one is a unique, one of a kind piece of art. There were three painters that worked on this one
That 65k figure does surprise me though.

Jeremy, the paint job that you did on your boat was outstanding.
You need to see it in person to appreciate it.
I was wondering when you would chime in. ;)

Something tells me the owner of that boat doesn't let anyone else drive, dock, or load it. I can't imagine what it would be like to touch it up!

The boat is co-owned by two guys in Cincinnati and it is finished with a special clear coat that provides excellent solvent, fuel and stone chip resistance and has phenomenal DOI or Depth of image.
