Im about to purchase a light bar at the upcoming Sacramento Boat show. Any Suggestions? Im wanting 5 lights-3 front & 2 rear.

i think i got my fill at the pleasanton show , but it maybe fun to go again
Since there is a 5 mph speed limit after dark in California, and the lights are illegal at night, I find they are only useful for around the dock and while loading/unloading/cleaning on the trailer at night. They also attract a lot of bugs, like a bug zapper without the zap.
So my recommendation is to get whatever you think is cool :cool: and fits your budget.
I used two automotive, chrome plated, 44 watt, $40 driving lights. :banana:

its also best to have lots of beers and empties everywhere. make sure you have at least one saved for the sherrif in case you have a run in.

i had three in the front and two in the back, the thing is that when the front lights are on you don't see s**t on water + the're illegal here, so at nite i'm running with only the back lights on and uses the fronts only for the approach.

I agree, lights are worthless on the lake and actually reduce visibility.
