Can anyone tell me what the tank capacity is for my boat? Guage doesn't work and is down a ways on the "to do" list. I've read 24 gal and 31 gal in 2 different locations.

I go by my guage, but there is no way it is 31 gallons. Its proabbly closer to 24, that may be the number on the dot.

I have put nearly 30 ga in mine before when it was bone dry.

I have never filled it up from bone dry before, the most I've ever put it there is probably about 25 bucks, that's about 15 gallons. now that I think about it might be more. I'll check this weekend and let you know for sure

Yeah, I read 31 gal in the brochure, I read 24 gal, I think in the owners manual.
A couple weeks ago, I ran it pretty hard all day, used almost a whole tank, and when I was doing some hard turns, waiting for my trailer to get to the ramp, it sputtered twice in a row in the middle of the turn. (Like all the gas ran to one side of the tank and it lost fuel for a sec)When I filled it up, it took 23 gal. I didn't look at the level in the tank, just trying to figure out if it was within 1 gal of bone dry, or 6-7 gal.

Thanks guys, 31 gal it is then. At any rate, I can't say enough about the fuel consumption. On an average day, 5-6 hrs on the boat, 1/2 pulling, 1/2 cruising, I only use 12- 15 gal. On the day I put 23 gal in it, I had about 8 hrs of constant pulling. 3 gal/hr or less is stellar fuel economy for 300+ hp, IMO.
