Is there a historical timeline of MC and their products? Unless I'm just not able to find it, I don't see even a brief history of MC's boats. I find it hard to believe that a boat company with such a storied history has very little information about older products. Or if this is out there, can you provide a link?

Just about all car companies have done it, and I love to read about the timeline of events. It wouldn't have to be super detailed, but it would be cool if it was! Just a dateline showing what models were available in what years, major (and minor) changes to each model, options available, and special edition boats. Production quantities would also be interesting. It would also be cool to have a brief description on how the new models & names came about ("while sitting around after lunch on day in 1985, Rob commented about needing to expand the line, and wanted something better suited for the families, while keeping a firm hold on the Pro needs, hence the TriStar and ProStar series")

Wouldn't that be cool??

Thanks,
Kevin

Maybe we could talk TMC#1 in putting something together in text form.

Company started in a barn in 1968 by Rob Shirley and made 2 boats I beleive. One was called fireball due to the orange hull. Currently owned by MC.

George you crazy, I can't even keep up with my own history, cause I have been putting together Lynn and my statistics over the last 17 years in prep. for something special and I'm lost!

Kevin89MC, under announcements and several threads posted there is a pretty good time line available to place together. I do think that MC should put together an article, brochure or something, doing just that for info to all plant visitors/ plant tours, owners, dealers, employees, the general public and the industry for reference. It could be done on a year to year timeline starting in 1968 showing innovative products[powerslot, wearguard pylon,EFI, etc.] and models introduced in that particular year along with world records set, who owned the company , who was president, location of the plant during it's existance, etc. They have several persons at MC and associates that write for mag. advertising, brochures, owners manuals and service manuals that have access to all the truths and are experienced in journalism to accomplish this with ease. IT MAY EVEN ALREADY EXIST?, and we don't know about it........... HOW ABOUT IT TT ADMIN?.........I know there are bits and pieces out there in brochures, magazine articles, STAR mag., press releases, interviews, that could be compiled into one complete package and it could be a neat thing to put into TMC Membership packages for new owners and old alike, fully introducing them to the company!
