Does anyone have an install manual for this radio? I really need to know the wiring diagram w/ the RCA plugs. The owners manual does not give the info on what the wires and plugs are for. I really need the RCA info, I hooked another amp w/ a sub-woofer, but I think there is a better way than the way I hooked everything. If one of those plugs is dedicated for a sub, then I can clean up the install and it should sound better.

Thanks,
Barry

I think I do. I can check when I get home. If so I can scan them in and email them to you.

How did the XM hook up go?

nevermind on the clarion website. The manuals I found were for current production

search this site for a link from mymc regarding hooking up a sub amp to the xmd3
it is an overcomplicated, wastefully intelligent, useless headunit...
did I say that out loud?

I hooked mine up to my sub amp based on his link and it does work

Thanks for the info. If you have this Michael, that would be great. I'll search for the post within TT. I have everything hooked up and working, so no hurry. It took about 2 hrs hooking up and running wires, and then 3 hrs trying to trouble-shoot the D@&# receiver without a manual. After checking everything, the problem with the reciever was it was sensing too much current draw on the amp turn-on wire, and shutting itself down after about 5 seconds. So I just wired both amps to my aux switch on the dash. How complicated can you make a Radio????

Thanks,
Barry

Thanks Mike & Mark, that helps a lot. I'll print everyting out tomorrow at work and finish the job this weekend.

PS Hey Mike, it was a beautiful day today, I wish we had that yesterday. I was wakeboarding yesterday and the water and air was around 70 here.

Yeah Sat. was great I had the boat on the trailer working on the stereo all day in the driveway. I actually got a little sun. Than after everything is working , I wake up an Sunday morning and it is nasty as hell. Oh well, I had to go out in it anyway....

And then to make matters worse, today was just beautiful, as I stare out the window at work....
