I have used it for quite a while w/o any problems at all.

Disclaimer: I don't use it to illegally download anything ;-)

It is a fair one, much better than kazaa was, doesn't plug you up w/ spyware either.

I had a problem the first time I tried to download it. I rebooted the computer and downloaded it again and it has worked fine ever since. I think that my Norton Internet Security was interfering somehow. I have an older Dell running XP as well.

I have a new Dell XPS and the program loads fine, but I learned the hard way that this does not work at all with dial-up. I live out of town just far enough I can't get a DSL hook up, so I'm stuck. Sure, it'll download music but one song takes like 30 minutes. Bummer....

Dial up = not fun. Of course you'll have to get a harddrive to hold all the fully legal material.

I have used Limewire for a couple of years and like it so much I went and upgraded to pro.

However I only use it to share files with my 'friends'. I do not do anything illegal.
