Hello,

I recently purchased a 1999 mastercraft 205V Hull. When I say Hull, I mean just the hull. If anyone out there has a bulk of parts that might fit this boat, or know where some good places to look, please reply. Also, does anyone know what model transmission I will need to put in this? I have read that a Hurth V-Drive is the way to go, but not sure of any part/model numbers. Also, if anyone has a maintanence manual or any sort of parts listing that might help me, please reply. Any information is helpful!!! PLEASE!!

How about a photo of what you got?

I wonder if you can find a boat with a trashed hull to get the running gear from?

I wonder if you can find a boat with a trashed hull to get the running gear from?

A few months ago I saw a 99 PS205V that flipped over on the freeway for $3000. Its hull was obviously trashed, but according to the ad, the only damage was to the hull, tower, windsheild and a few other small parts. This would have been perfect for you. I would recommend trying cooperss.com or yachtsalvage.com, both have salvaged skiboats quite regularly.

Hey everyone, thanks for your help so far. SodarSki73, you are correct! That would have been sweet! I'm attaching some photos for those of you who are curious what I have and what I'm up against. I also looked at cooperss.com and yachtsalvage.com, I didn't see anything, but I will definitely keep looking at them!

Any more help from anyone would be great!

Don't forget to upgrade the trailer w/ the boat!

Otherwise, enjoy your project!!!!! What kind of timeline do you have?

So how does one end up with just that to sell?

It's acutally an unusual situation... the hull was actually used as a display, and has never been used. I don't want to say how much I paid for it, but it was a good deal in my opinion.

Everyone keep your eyes open for info or parts that could help!
