SIX MORE WEEKS!
The Prognosticator of Prognosticators has spoken! Phil says winter's chill will last a little longer.

How can it be 6 more weeks of winter? Winter hasn't started yet.

No kidding, is it February or April? 50 degrees today in Akron. I think we settled the global warming debate this winter.

If it wasn't for an ill-scheduled exam in college, my college roomates and I were going to go to Puxatawny PA for Groundhog's Day way back in my college days. Has anyone ever been there for Feb. 2?

Pretty meaningless day.....but GREAT movie!!!

"It's the same thing your whole life, wash your hands, sit up striaght, don't chew with you mouth open,...Oh yea, don't drive on the railroad tracks!"

Man Bill Murry is great. Guess what movie I am watching tonight?

Georgia's groundhog, General Beauregard Lee, has predicted an early spring.

We shall see...I keep waiting for the cold to get here. Thunderstorms and 51 degrees here today.

I've heard about Groundhog day forever, but I guess I don't know how the old superstition works. If he sees his shadow, we get 6 more weeks of winter? So if he doesn't, do we get more or less than 6 weeks? Never bothered to ask anyone, so I'll look stupid and ask all of you!
Also regarding the warm winter (Our January was the warmest in like 100 years), apparently Russia & co are experiencing all time record lows. Some area's average temps were like 50 below. Ouch, that's really cold, even for us Minnesotans!
