Well, I just made a very expensive entry into the Overton's sweepstakes, and what I was wondering was, when I win do I get to design my own or do I have to take the black one in the pic? The rules didn't say. Black boats this far south can cause second degree burns.:firejump: :firejump:

When you win, you can store it at the end of my dock. I'll let you come up and see it anytime you'd like. Not a lot of problem with it getting burned from the excessive heat here. I would even be willing to be sure the gas doesn't go bad in the tank and run it on a regular basis.

Don't get me wrong, I think basic bad-a$$ black looks awsome, but the first time it hits 100 here, you'll be able to fry bacon on it (namely my bacon!). I'd take one any way I could get it.

just get those misters i saw at the boat show. they mount along your tower and mist all around the boat.

Yeah, I'm headed to the Dallas boat show this weekend and maybe Tulsa too. I'll post pictures of the models. I mean, uhh, boats.

i aslo saw some step pads that the wakeboard boats are using at the boat show. that could help with burning yourself on the gunnel.

I'm sure the results are independently audited - you know - just like Enron and Healthsouth...

Did have a guy back in 1993 win a CC here locally when
Overton's co marketed with them. Pretty Basic Boat w/ trailer
All the guy did was buy a set of gloves/

In reference to getting your color choice...

Is there a link to sign up for the boat w/o buying from Overton's? Not that I'm cheap, I'm just not an Overton's fan. That being said, I will take a free boat from them :D

In 2003 (I believe it was), the Overtons winner's boat was sitting at my dealer for prep when I stopped by one day. The boat offer was a 19 Skier that year - the guy paid the difference to upgrade to a 209. So he got what he wanted out of it. At least that was the story my salesman told me.

Somebody's gotta win it!

When I didn't win in 03, I wrote them for a list just to be sure someone won it. In 04, I just accepted defeat.
