I had my bachelor party on a houseboat along the St. Johns river. Great time! Two marinas, Hontoon Landing Marina, and Holly Bluff Marina rent houseboats out of the Deland, Florida area. It is a 6 hour trip up the river to a great spot called "Silver Glenn". It is a natural spring that features crystal clear water and tons of social activity. On a busy summer weekend, it is not uncommon to have 200-300 boats rafted together in the springs. Both companies allow you to tow a boat or wave runner behind the houseboat. Also, bring your camera as there is usually some great talent there that would be an excellent addition to the Swimsuit thread.!

Good call,TScott...although the "Glenn" will be pretty empty during the week, especially during winter months. Super fun trip, nonetheless.
