Good morning to you all! Drinking Starbucks anniversary blend and getting ready to go to the lake and spend some alone time with my honey while the kids are in school. I had yesterday and today off and it is Sunny and mid 80's!!! :) Yesterday there were only three boats on the lake and for a couple of hours I don't think I saw any and NO JET SKIS!

Leroy, I do like those days when it's 30 feet to the office.. Unfortunately not today..

FYI - heavy frost last night. So much for the remaining crabapples...

I have a supplier on line where I buy 5#'s of Reg. and 5#'s of Decafe. It is called Coffee AM and as I recall if you buy over $50 there is no shipping. My net cost per. # is like $5 or $5.50. Then I mix it so I am getting half the caffeine of regular.

André said he had to go on the road to service a number of kilns..

yeah, Mark, where have you been? Awful quiet for a long time, leaving the rest of us to get into trouble...

Brian,
Yeah, snow in October is pretty depressing, but normal.. I'm gonna put the water ski stuff away and get the snow ski stuff out this weekend.. See if I need to get anything repaired or adjusted before the season starts.. Good base is starting in the mountains already...

Looks like I gotta go back to the UK in November. I just hate that flight -- I don't know how LeRoy does a waayy longer one...

MarkP
10-21-2004, 02:43 PM
I thought of you down in Texas when I saw the weather guy say 90s. Sweet!!

My boat went into the “cave” last Sat. I could have held out 4, 5, 6, weeks or so but I wasn’t guaranteed a spot in the cave this year.. I will have a paid reservation next year. So no skiing for Daddy Sweetwater this weekend.. Hey have I told you guys, “I wish I had a boat”??

Just trying to give every poster a turn..

Things got a little busy for a while. I have to run around a little more this school year for my oldest girls extra academic activities. The middle one is still wild and the new one cant do a lot for herself yet. Bri, you sleepin nights yet??

Doug, dude, I just saw that you are over 3k, LMAO, Go get em

Mark, I've always meant to ask, with that sweet garage spot, why do you put the boat in a cave? Won't it/you get lonely over the winter?

It's hot in Texas, and the counter keeps on clickin'.

MarkP
10-21-2004, 03:02 PM
Doug , The winters in PA sometimes come with a little snow, so it’s a huge bonus to be able to keep both cars (pick up and suv) in the garage during the winter.

Oh, I sure do/will, miss my boat, especially this early in Fall

Its called US Storage Co. in Cabot, PA, 724-352-7122. I didn’t look around just brought my boat back to them, as its been kept in the same cave from new. 150.$ Till April 30th. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, but dry and constant 52. Good enough for me..

I have been by that place a few times. I hear it is a good one. Some others mines around are damp and mildew is a problem.

I haven't been out since right before the last flood. I have mine winterized, I just need to detail it and put it to bed.
But then, if a good Indian Summer weekend would come around, I could be ready real quick. Only problem is my ramp has about a foot of flood mud on it. I am hoping the winter weather and ice clear it off for me.

Good to hear from you Andre!
Not yet, we have had a few days in the 80's but it is back to normal now. 40's and rain today.
I did see the boat a week ago and can't wait to pull her out of storage.
We usually pull the lifts out in mid May.
I enjoyed a few vacations and some great weather this year. Cancun two times and Florida once. Did some skiing in Cancun in Feb.
It definately helped take the sting out of winter!
When do you put your lift in Andre?

André
04-22-2005, 09:16 AM
Still some ice in the middle of the lake but the first hundred feet from the shore are free.Should be clear this week end and put the boat and the lift next week end.I have to install my Perfect Pass system and a new prop.( I may wait for the lake to clear debris for the prop).Should be skiing in 2 weeks in a wet suit since Santa didn,t bring a dry suit...

Saluez votre tres jolie epouse Mrs Stevo !
