Lost Creek. 6 miles of pure glass-24-7. It's a tributary off of the Warrior river in Alabama.

Easy guys, I don't think this post will ruin 6 miles in Alabama, or anywhere else for that matter.

Here in central Indiana it's 6AM Monday until noon Friday on most of the public lakes with 6AM until 7AM being very busy also!

I hope someone tells me about a secret spot here!

Luckily they haven't found that spot yet. It's too narrow most likely.

Wow, my sense with California being one of the top markets for boat sales is there wouldn't be any untouched lakes left. Congrats for having a killer spot.

Hey Rod,
I was reading somewhere that Sacramento is sort of built like New Orleans, where they have multiple dikes around town to keep Folsom & the 2 or 3 rivers in the area from flooding into town.
True? Seems like there could be problems with all the earthquakes in the area too.

rodltg2

there are levees all over. im in no danger i live 30 minutes east. no real earthquake danger here.

Patuxent River State Park in Maryland, just south of Jug Bay, in the evenings after the park is closed and the gate is locked. The river is narrow and glassy there after the other boats leave and the wind dies down in the evening. That's where I learned to slalom.

Is tellico any good? I know its MC's home water, but it seems so wide open(kindof like lake martin in alabama).

I hate revealing this secret, but I wouldn't know of this spot if someone hadn't told me about it in the first place.

The Brazos River South of Cleburne, TX. The water level has been extremely low lately. It is tough to get to, but well worth it if you don't mind dirty red river water.

I don't guess that hurts the motor does it? Just goes through I suppose.

Have you ski'd it?

I ski'd the Seine while I was living in France...it was smooth, but it was yukka! I don't think I ever opened my mouth while I was in the water, and I had my cheeks pinched together all the time, too...

Lake Britton in Nor. Cal is a really nice ski spot. Had a great time there last summer. It is aprox. 1hr east of Shasta. The wind comes up late in the afternoon and then dies down again. Great for skiing early and late. Not too crowded either! :D

Not that I'm aware of to this point. We definitely put in enough hours to damage it if it were possible.

Where we ski on lost creek there are a bunch of lillypads on the banks. The good news is they eat rollers, so it knocks any waves down really fast. The bad news is they are brutal on my hot shower filters.I had to install a complete set of larger hot and cold filters just to keep the crap out.
