yes, here it is.....I get to start yet another thread:headbang:

CARSON, Calif. - The last time former New York City resident Alan Poster saw his dream car, he was young and it was blue. Nearly four decades later, he's a little grayer and the car has turned silver but it was love at first sight again as the Corvette somebody swiped in New York was returned to him.

Pretty amazing story. I'd love to know how it went undetected all these years.

With the containers in the back ground, I wonder if it wasn't intended to be shipped out and never got to the ship.

The story says something about it being sold to someone in Sweden by someone else in California. But it doesn't say anything about how the guy in California got it or where he's had it.

in the video,

I got chills when they talked about the price in 1969 and the value of it today.

something that really stands out is the dedication mentioned of the officers that researched the microfiche files:headbang:

Barrett-Jackson auction started on Speed lastnite. Had quite a few cars with original stickers WOW what a differance!
I'm thinkin I need to build a timemachine and go back and buy some of those '65 to '70'ish muscle cars!
