there is nothing wrong with it ( at least according to the obd reader)

More than likely that is a dealer only fix. OBD2 does not read every fault code. Dealer will probably have to look at it. How many miles on the car? Alot of times the light will come on indicating a service milestone, and will either go off on it's own after a while or the dealer will have to turn it off.
You could always pull the bulb, but that would be wrong!

Try this It will reset MAINT lights on most Hondas KEY OFF press and hold the trip reset button in TURN KEY ON do not start wait for MAINT light to flash, turn key off and leave a tip in the jar hehe... That should reset it

MAINT lights and service engine lights are two different animals

On my Dodge Neon you can reset the Service Engine Light by unhooking the battery for about 10 or 15 minutes. You can tell if it's been reset because the first time you start it, the engine will sputter a bit as the computer collects info & adjusts. If the problem still exists, then the light will come back on till you fix the problem.

Man that button must be helpful, on my e30 bmw i just jump across to pins in the fault code socket.

Not gonna bring it in to get it done (and not obd II)

On my Dodge Neon
Not to THEADJACK, oh wait to late.
I was running down the express way here they USE to build the Dodge NEON and were very proud. Huge signs on the Manufacturing plant. They recently replaced the huge signs with even bigger ??? (yes question marks) I wonder what thats all about.
