Guys I need your help. I may be out of place asking for it, but I will ask anyway. I found out last week that my grandfather had lung cancer (expected 2pk a day smoker) Today I found out that the cancer had spread to his brain. The outlook is less than 2 months. Please just keep him in your prayers. thanks

Take the time to let him know you love him very much and what you learned from him that you now apply in your life.

Prayer's from here as well!

I know it's a tough time for you and your family. Dad died from cancer 11 yrs ago the 17th of this month. I second the comments about spending as much time as you can with him.

On a sidenote for everyone here, always make sure the people you care about know just how much. The father of a girl in my son's class (6th grade), passed away this past weekend. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December and was preparing to seek treatment in houston. He was only 41, with 4 kids.

You got it. Don't lose hope. My aunt smoked regularly until she was 75, at which point she quit. At 85, she was given a similar diagnosis (approx. 6 weeks) when they discovered a brain tumor (she'd previously been diagnosed with lung cancer. Though the drs resisted treatment, she insisted on it and lived another 8 years, during which time she traveled the world.
