Thanks for the compliments. I do not know what the color's name is, but it is the factory dark blue for the 2005 year. Maybe Jim@BAWS can shed a little light on the color for you. This boat was Sammy Duvall's demo boat from last year.

Well if it makes you feel a little better.....You can look over the roof of the house in the background, and you can see that it is starting to cloud up.... :D :D :D

I love the boat, color scheme is awsome. It's kinda funny though, your new ride is settin on the same trailer as my 2000 x-star. I have decided that my next ride will probably be an x-9. Enjoy

Well ICBW, but I think that the 05 x-2 is the same boat as the 2000 or 2001 X-Star. Maybe someone here knows for sure.....

I was told that the hull on my x-star is the same as the 05 x-2. Guess ya don't mess with success, but I do like the 9's. I just hope they don't change the hulls for a couple years yet.

WHAT! The color does not appear to be Monterey (sp) dark blue. It looks like the lighter blue Meditterain (sp). I like that as a accent color.

Origianlly on the net it looked like Canadain Blue metal flake but MC does not do Metal flake as a reverse on the bottom.

Good Looking boat

Thanks Jim, I just assumed that it was the darker of the blues offered, but after seeing what you wrote and looking at it after work it is lighter that the current dark blue on the web site, so it must be the Mediterrane that was offered last year and also offered on this years old school x-star. I went to the design a boat and found that color, which looks the closest, on the 06' old school x-star. I knew Jim would save the day.....Anyway, thanks everyone for the nice comments and if anyone wants to come to Winter Haven, they can see it in person and go for a pull.

Beautiful boat and scenery.....

Hey erkoehler, I have never seen anyone barefoot behind a wakeboard boat, but you are more than welcome to try. Bring your feet and your rope and come on down.....If it doesnt work out, I do have a few barefoot buddies around here to take you.

I've got a couple buddies thet have footed behind my 2000 X-Star and they love it.Pullin off tower gives them a boost commin out of the water. The funny thing is they all own C.C. Ski's. I'm doin my best to change that though.

Hey Eric, The x-2 is one of the only v-drives that is awsa tournament approved for three events, the bump is soft, you might like BFing behind it. Of course its not the same as a mid-eng but hey....

I don't see the X-2 on the AWSA list just the 190 and 197.

That pic was taken right before we dropped her in.

By the way, just to get off topic. After that pic was taken, we went to see the ski show aat Cypress Gardens. At the end of the show the skiers did the pyramid, unfortunately, I left my digital camera sitting on my work bench after that shot.....
