It's a 2 hr flight or something like 20 hrs by car but man, there's no summer in that part of Canada,it last something like 2 weeks then it's winter again! Not much alpine skiing either there.Let me find you some links to some Québec's area...Plane tickets can't be much more $ for Montréal and you would love the French Canadian thing...

Here's one for a region an hour north of Montreal.Nice ski lake at the foot of the mountain and many lakes and cottages all over the place in that area.http://www.tremblant.ca/index-e.htm

If you are at Mandalay, there is the chance that through the concierge you could get in at Dragon Ridge. It is a private club that is amazing! (surrounded by 30k+ sq.ft. homes). Tiger Woods has his charity event there almost every year! It is a bit pricey but worth it!!!! Other than that, the Lake Las Vegas stuff is nice as well but a bit further out there if you aren't renting a car!

Shadow Creek is AWESOME!!!!!!! It was a private course by invite only but now if you stay at an MGM property you can play it. I had a friend that worked there for a few years. Check out www.shadowcreek.com

I think you should move here and play them all! Here is a link to some more http://vegasgolfer.com/newcourseguide.html. Courses that I have not played that are on my dream list are Cascotta, Shadow Creek, Wynn, and all 3 courses at Lake Las Vegas. Bali Hai is next to Mandalay Bay and is awesome! If you can't get onto Dragon Ridge, Rio Secco is just as awesome and is a resort course (for ,da, the Rio and other Harrah's properties). Let me know if you have any questions about specific courses. By the way, March is the best time of the year here for golf! I'm jealous!

Paiute is awesome! 3 wonderful courses with Wolf being the toughest. Be prepared for some wind as it is in the narrow part of the valley to the north and all of the air funnels through there. Good choice!

I don't golf myself, but hear good things about that course from those that do. As I live just south of there, I can verify the increased chance of wind, but we'll put in a request for good weather while you're here. :D
