These had some issues when they came out. Done a bit of a search and it seems like if the software has been updated and power tower fixed then they should be all good.is there anything i need to look out for. Any particular questions i need to ask the seller.
Thanks

the 2012s get a bad wrap but as long as the screen has the updates and it doesn't have the PnP system from the factor you are fine.

The PnP from the factory used three electronic valves which I went through 6 sets off because they would get stuck. MC finally came through with a solution for us right before I sold my boat and the PnP was perfect when I sold it. this made me kind of sad to sell it because I loved my X45....

I never had one issue with the screen. My boat was updated soon after we took delivery and the screen was flawless. if you like the boat then go for it.

for the PnP valves that came from the factory they switched them out with pumps for us. and added three more switches. Worked Great...

Make sure it has been switched over to Zero Off speed control. Perfect pass was terrible in those. Most got switched to ZO.

I had screen issues with my 12 X-15, but with help from Keith at Utah Water Sports, Angie at Lens Cove Marina, and the factory, they installed Zero Off and now the boat is perfect. You need the Zero Off and not Perfect Pass.

Is there anyway of telling if the power tower has had the updates done just by looking at it.

Also has there been any hull changes in the x25 from 2010 to now.

Don't believe there have been any hull changes since it was introduced as the csx center console boat and then converted to the x25. Only change is that the newer models have tracking fins to help it track straight at low speeds. I have a 2011 model and it does not have them.

Yes. Look under the back corner seats in the lounge. If there is a square aluminum pump assembly in there, it has been retrofitted. Or you can check on the bottom of the tower actuators. If there is two black hydraulic hoses going into the bottom of the actuators, it is all set.

(Basically, the update was for changing the actuators from electric, to hydraulic. The electrics had some random issues. The hydraulic setup has been bulletproof.)

Ok looks like it is an 2011.has 11 as last numbers on Hin. But it does have the 2012rolled overboard ins platform. But the old big screen that is not touch screen. Are the 2011 ok. Can you install the tracking fins on them. Do they need them. Cheers
