Rolled over 1018 hours on my 1994 205 yesterday at my place in baja, mex ...known as "the secret spot" from occasional articles in Waterski mag. Air temp=70, sun=shining, water temp=mid 50's, dry suit=comfy, 4 hour drive each way from the OC=worth it, glass on December 31st followed by Corona...priceless. I'm demoing a 2006 197 in 2 weeks...are we going to notice a major difference from my 205's sweet wake? we free ski at 32 & 34 mph, 15 off. Can run the course at 30mph 15 off but have dellusions of improving.

Probably, we've had our place 10 years so if his 95 205 was turquoise blue then I definitely remember that boat. My 205 is red with a white tower. will post photos in a week after business travel.

155 hours on my 1995 MasterCraft ProStar 190 Sammy Duvall. Very low hours due to original owner filed bankrupty, bank repossessed the boat and put in the storage for several years. Second owner bought it at the auction. His wife wanted a pontoon boat instead. I'm the third owner. Beautiful boat ! Looks like new !

Sounds like the same story as my 1996 PS 190! First owner could not make payments, so he stuck it in the garage with 120 hrs to avoid repossession. I bought it FAR FAR below market value on Christmas '03 and I have put a little over 300 hours on it in the last 3 years! If you have access to repo auctions, I highly recommend it!

Jimmy and ss4000+,

It would be extremely interesting to hear of the history of your boats to hold up through so many hours. Especially the 4,000+ hours story. Please share some details. Any significant maintenance done, etc.

Thanks,

Good season for us in my own opinion. We had another boat before this one put about 20 hours on it from the beg of season. Then got the x-1 in end of june and put about 57 hours on. Now it sits on a trailer getting winterized. I wish it could be home :-(

I re-checked this past weekend. David is right....1118 hours. I was looking at the last two little dials...and adding them to the hour meter. Oops! I did try to take a pic but the sun was shining on the dial soooo, no pic. Sorry boys. I did get a pic of David's cracked ski though.
