When you're dealing with 2 digit numbers this way, the results are all multiples of 9. If you look at the chart, all multiples of 9 through 81 have the same symbol. When you play again, the symbols may change, but all multiples of 9 still have the same symbol. It has no choice but to show the correct one.

i.e. it will always be the symbol for #9, 18, 27, 36, ...

and the symbols change so that no matter which multiple of nine you come in contact with it will always be the symbol, yet it will take people longer to notice what is going on.

maristar, you don't pick a number and then see if it guesses the corrisponding symbol, you pick a number add the digits and then subtract from the original
