I'm afraid the legend has never been on the side of a margarita or the bottle with the worm..:D ..I haven't worked my way up to the taste of your good stuff yet Mark! What's on the menu for PA authentic Mexican?

MarkP

I’m afraid to say, as it may be a child labor issue.

I taught the middle child to cook..

Sorry, that’s my 5 yr old making Tortilla dough.

She did a great job!!

I thought tortillas came in a plastic bag from the grocery store. :D

I bet those are much better!

They do . I love the ones in the plastic bag. I use them most often when cooking , “authentic”, but, tonight I had, time and a helper..

Not sure what she made but it was good.. Some sort of pulled beef tortilla thing with a roasted pepper sauce, black beans and rice..
Not to be critical of her, but presentation was a little weak..

It was her first try.

This could be the thread of the year.

:D

"I stay home with the kids!!!! I cant afford not to have that stuff!!"

"Its either "Don Eduardo",,,,, or I’m up at the high school looking for Heroin.."

"No wait, that isn't my middle kid, it's the other one"

And a Dalmation to assist in the kitchen....

The great looking kid looks like she knew more about cooking than does Don about liquor.....

That's a good looking Palotti!

BTW, Mark you have one ugly kitchen! I mean really, you could at least do something to spruce it up a bit. ;) (That thing is gorgeous Mark!!)

You’ve got to cut me some slack man. It always trashes the kitchen when you cook Mexican.:o .

LOL, I get a little sensitive about that.. René always rides me about how “elegant” OTHER kitchens in the neighborhood are..

Sporty, That comment was meant “tongue in cheek”. Kind of just expressing how hectic my job can get at times, (with 3 kids, all 4 years apart). They all need something different at the same time..
