My wife and I are taking a second honeymoon to the Florida Keys in January and she has given me the green light to go to a ski school if I can find one nearby. Anybody have any suggestions for me?

Good luck on that one. I doubt you'll find any kind of serious ski school down there. There used to be a guy in Key Largo who advertised in Waterski Magazine years ago. I called him once when I was down there and even he didn't sound too encouraging -- no course, ski on public salt water lagoon/lake in North Key Largo -- 50/50 chance of having skiable (flat) water... Wasn't even a real school, you just had to arrange to meet him somewhere.
I even took my own Mastercraft down there once (to Islamorada), but had a hard time finding good non-choppy water to ski on.
Go diving or fishing instead...
