Went by Costco yesterday. The only batteries I saw there were Kirkland deep cycle RV/Marine batteries. Curious if anyone has any experience with these?

They are most likely manufactured by Johnson controls which manufactures batteries for a lot of the major brands. I would compare price and warranty and go with the best of both.

Well, about 2/3 the cost of the appropriate Interstate replacement. I need to look closer at their specs. Hoping someone has used them and can give firsthand experience

I have two of them in my boat, and I'm on my third season with them. They have been great. I think they have 1 year free replacement and are prorated after that. When I bought them they were under $80 each and were rated at 105ah per battery. I use two of them on my stereo bank and charge them with an onboard charger. I looked at a lot of batteries, and I couldn't find a better ah/$ ratio anywhere.

Cool. Thanks! Do you remember if you have the group 24's?

Cool. Are they housed in the black battery housings or did you do something else? Just trying to determine if 27's will fit in the standard housing without going to the storage to measure! :-)

They would not fit in my factory housing. I have a group 24 starting battery in there and two group 27s for the stereo.
