Are they in the port side locker mount to the back of the seat?

Mine were located under the arm rest for the throttle. Personally I hated them and took them out. I have no timers at all now and it is much better. When they full the over flow tells me they are full.

So I have to remove the entire drivers side panel?

I also have 07 except mine is a x2 and they are located under the rear port seat. it's a pretty large black box with fuse resets on the front of it. probably 8 x 10 in size.

best money I spent was having them reprogramed like you are having done. quick turnaround to.

Hello all:

I am also getting ready to send my timers in, does anyone have any advice on opening this panel up? I'm only a little worried about the throttle itself, does it come off with the panel?

Thanks, Steve.

I was able to partially remove the panel then there were 4 screws holding the entire timer unit

To get the panel off, there are the 3 screws at the top with nuts on the backside of the fiberglass. Then there is a single screw on the front in the center near the bottom. There is a hidden one on the panel towards the rear of the boat about halfway up. You can't see it from the front of the panel, but there is a nut holding it on from the backside.

I would not remove the top center screw if at all possible. It is a big pain to get back on.
