I am currently looking at a 08 X2, the owner is asking in the upper 40s nearly 50.
Details are,
350hp motor
300 hrs
Perfect pass with screen in dash
Tandem axel trailer
Fiberglass swim platform
All other standard factory options
I understand this is kinda a vague description of the boat but the boat is fairly clean and in good condition. I traveled 6 hours to see and run the boat recently but when we started heading out on the water we started to have mechanical issues and had to limp back to the ramp. Owner was going to have dealer fix the issues and check over the rest of the boat. My question is what is a fair price for the boat I have described? I know what I am willing to pay but I would like fellow TT members advice and opinions!

$45K is probably a fair price.

In the range of what I paid for my 08 X2 in May from a dealer. 440 hours, 4 tower speakers, teak, attitude plate, rear radio controls, MCX, tandem trailer (a must) and perfect pass.

This time of year that's a pretty fair deal.

Buy my 08 X Star for $48K.....That's my two cents....And Im in Texas...New long block, tandem Dorsey trailer... wetsounds.... you will definitely be more satisfied with a Star than an X-2.....

You had me at the color! What a beauty of a boat! Price seems legit.

Honestly, would try to settle at 45k. I think all would walk away happy given the time of year..

$45 is definitely no steal for a 08, 300hrs, yellow boat that didn't even run! Honestly are u absolutely sure u want a x2?

Thanks for all the comments everyone! We settled at 46$ and so far I am super pleased with the boat! Only thing I'm working on is building a big surf wake, I'm not a small guy so having to spend some time getting the right amount of weight and speed so I can ride without the rope. My son(13) loves to wakeboard and wasn't to thrilled to ride behind our 02 190. He knew nothing about the boat, told him one day lets take a road trip and 5 hours later we met the previous owner at a gas station just off the interstate and latched onto the boat! His face lit up and he was shocked because I had been talking about looking for another boat for about a year. Needless to say his skills have greatly improved since we brought the boat home and both of us can't seem to get enough of being on the water!
