View Full Version : Boss Board Racks?

I am looking at getting a pair of Boss adjustable (2 pieces) board racks. As my 2000 Zero Flex has horizontal bars, these racks will give me the flexibility of spacing them for either bards or skis.
Has anyone ever used them? For the price they look like a good deal ($165 at wakeside) but I would like to hear about your own experence.

I know the mastercraft racks are probably a lot better but the price is not the same at all.

Here are the racks I am looking at:

I too have been looking to add some ski racks to my zeroflex and in my research, believe these are about the most cost effective available. Anyone have first hand experience???

I called the wakeside help line last night. The guy on the phone was very knowledgeable. First, he confirmed the diameter of the 2000 Zero flex is 1 7/8" inch and second he told me the difference between the ski rack and the board rack is the thikness of the space where the board / ski goes.
I would realy appreciate finding someone with first hand experence about this product before ordering them. I am looking at getting 1 ski rack and 1 board rack.
Maybe I will eventually get a matching surf rack later if I get a wakesurf for xmass.

How is this one better than the Boss racks? $35 cheaper but not as customized.
The Boss adjustable is similar except it comes with the exact fittings for the Zeroflex tower (1 7/8" round) and have a specific rack for skis that has a different thickness than their wakeboard rack. It might worth the extra $35.
Anyone with hands on experience on either of them?

Here is the add from wakeside.com if anybody is interested on early Xmass shopping.
