Boat House Marine in Rootstown did my Gel work. Closer than Cincy, but not by much. Good luck!

BTW, what happened?

I have a small tip for you. The first time I repaired my keel, i did not grind out in between the gel that did not come off. It looked fine to me, so I just left it in there. The problem is, the outer gel is kinda like a candy coating. If you smash it against something, it weekens and cracks. You know what happens next, it starts to chip off.

I would have the shop repairing it take out all of the gel in the keel area that is damaged to avoid any piecies from chipping out later. It will also look better when finished as it will all be one color.

I hope this info helps. Good luck!

Al Williams in Centerville, OH.

Probably 75 miles from Columbus. I haven't had work done personally, but have been told by several that he does good work at fair prices.
