I recently put a 1985 PCM 351 in my 1989 Prostar that had a junk INDMAR 351. Got the engine for a pretty good deal, but now I am realizing there are some issues with wiring it up. Not the plug and play I was hoping for, but I should be able to figure it out. I have the full harness from the gauges to the INDMAR, however I do not have the wire harness that stretches to the gauges from the PCM that was just dropped in. Has anyone gone through this process before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, are aftermarket harness alright to use and is there a good source out there?

Don't know if this will help, but it might. The attached PDF is for Indmar (see bottom of post). The picture that appears inline is for PCM (Correct Craft). Good luck.

Thank you everyone, I am getting much closert to actually having fun on the water with this boat. Since I bought the boat without a battery and replaced the Indmar with the PCM I am struggling with the colors of some of the cables I have to work with and where to ground the battery to. Coming out of the battery box is a blue and green thick wire and coming off the starter is a black wire. Does anyone have any photos of this area on there boat. The wiring diagrams certainly help, but some actual pictures of how it is set up on the boat would be great.
