I remember back in the summer of '92 at the Bud Pro Tour stop in Minneapolis drooling all over the Stars and Stripes boats they had on display.

A 93 S&S would be the only other closed bow boat I would even consider (red of course).

Duck!!!

Pic taken by new friend on my boat. She first got in the back to get a better shot -- you should have seen the look on her face when I pulled out to the side the first time and the rope headed for her neck! :eek3:
I tried to warn her but she didn't understand my signal, but she ducked in time (and yes, I would have stopped before the rope strangled her)

Yeah, they start showing up when the water gets to a certain level. We have to hit them with the cutter about once a month for about an hour or so to keep the course clear.

I thought the moment would never come, I never pushed her to ski, let her kneeboard her heart out. She got a bug to try the trick skis and did well on them, then one day when I was packing for the lake she told me I better get "her" slalom ski out of the shed because she was going to rip it up like Uncle Brad.

How long did it take Jr. to master getting up? He'll be tearing it up like dad soon!

I think it took him about three or four tries. I never pushed him but finally told him that it's about time that he gets going with it before he gets much older. He's really glad that he finally did it.
I'm sure that he'll be ready for my KD next season, I'm looking for a new ski.

Those recent pics of the very young kids are awesome!
It's great to see the kids keeping the sport alive.

Yes it is very good to see.
I keep thinking that the best way for my 8-10year olds to get off that (^&*% kneeboard and do some skiing is if I get their friends into skiing and they'll not want to be outdone.

The competition helps. Jr. has a cousin that is his age that is starting to ski very well. I got him up on a very nice 66" double boot HO that my wifes nephew left at the cottage. It will be a good ski for both of them to learn on. Now if I could only get a course set up...

sent you a PM, in the program that your picture opens up in go to the help toolbar and type resize and it should talk you thru ... also, when you save the picture save it as a *.jpg (do not save it as a *.bmp - takes up too much space).

Mitch isn't my son, but there's probably not a cooler 16 year old, that kid will skik as long as anyone is willing to drive. I've pulled him free skiing for 15 minutes straight, tearing it up all the way.

Here's a shot of my daughter hamming it up on a huge wakeboard, we got a kids wakeboard off of Ebay so this summer will be interesting (especially after she's been in gymnastics for a year)

Nomad 66" off of Goode 9200 65.5

Feels a little more locked in on the offside turn than the old one, but i might take some depth out, though i haven't taken it into a course yet so i'm not sure if i will yet or not. I kind of feel like i'm not far enough forward on it in the turn but i'm at approx. the factory settings for dft, so i'm thinking i might just try to keep my weight a bit more up on the ski through the offside, onside is brilliant.

later runs were much better than that one, but i didn't have pictures.

BEAUTIFUL water, you can see the bottom in 20 feet water depth. creepy if you don't like seeing logs on occasion.

I know a guy in North Fla. that has (or had) one of these boats, and let it go to hell! I heard he tried to get the local MC dealer to buy it for a project boat but that wouldn't touch it. I'll try to e-mail him and see if he's still got it.
