As read on Menshealth.com

In theory, identifying a dangerously drunk city would require the MetLife blimp and a humongous Breathalyzer. In practice, it calls for a statistical sobriety checkpoint.
First, we tapped municipal police departments and scanned the FBI's Uniform Crime Report to determine the DWI arrest rates for the 101 largest cities in the nation.
Then, because many drunk drivers avoid arrest only to eat the windshield (or feed one to someone else), we went to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for data on alcohol-related traffic deaths. Finally, we checked the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's WONDER database for the mortality rates for six categories of alcohol-related liver disease.
When all was said and drunk, the place one would have expected to earn the title of "Most Fatally Inebriated"--New Orleans--staggered in sixth from last. Instead, the city with the most toxic levels of intoxication is Denver. Who knows? Maybe the thin air makes everyone thickheaded about designating drivers and limiting libations.

I really need to find the study that ranked Tyler TX as having the most churches and most alcohol sales per capita in the nation. Not bad for town located in a dry county.

Damn, not top ten this time, but atleast an hour north of me is #1 again! The high altitude definitely seems to have something to do with hangovers, or maybe its just my imagination.
