barefoot shoes

went out this morning behind my friend dans boat...its a south african make called an angler...21ft long with a 225hp outboard....mines still in being converted to LPG....we went out on the Thames Estuary(saltwater .yukky taste)....it was a little bit choppy so i tried out my new shoes (http://store.barefootcentral.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=86&HS=1) dropped the speed down to 30mph and we were off.....i have to say ,these shoes are fantastic...a worthwhile investment for the winter......tricks can be learnt quicker and slower..(less painful crashhes)



BTW...it was no MC but beggars cant be choosers

Isn't barefoot shoes an oxymoron?

I have used old smooth sole tennis shoes before.

I have a pair of the barefoot international shoe skis, tried getting up on them a few times before I learned to foot. Now, I have so much fun on my bare feet that I haven't tried them since early June :D

eric..you're right..there is no substitute for skin......but i was footin in bigger "chop" than i would normally be able to...... :D
