i have start looking for barns... this thing looks new...

Since this is your fist post... you will get many questions.

What is Hull ID# -
What state is boat located?
Why do the pictures indicate spring?
When did you purchase it?
When did you run it last?

Very nice boat. By the way, that is a 351W Ford engine in there, not a 350.

I noticed a little dust on your hour meter.......might detract from the price a little bit. :)

Definately a beauty....if I saw that a couple years ago when I was in the market for a late '80s early '90s ProStar, I would have been all over it. Good luck with your sale.

300 hours of boating in 15 years probably means he hasn't spent too much time thinking about his boat motor. The pictures certainly look like a remarkably well kept boat. But after 15 years of limited use, there are probably some lurking issues - trailer bearing/brakes, fuel system, prop shaft packing, impeller, steering cable to name a few that need to be checked before you hit the lake. I hope someone picks it up and puts some hours on it!

Even less when the math comes out to 25 years.

He's got it listed as a 351 in his boat profile, perhaps it was a typo?

The original owner got it right in his profile and mistyped a digit in the description. Thanks. Now corrected

Lurking issues:
Trailer used twice/year. Bearings fanatically replaced regularly. No brakes.
Fuel system fine. Carb drained each season when winterized.
Prop shaft repacked and tranny fluid flushed/changed 2012.
Steering cable - no problems.
Impeller changed regularly well before needed.
Only legit lurking issue - tread new.tires old.

I'd suggest doing someone a huge favor and putting on new tires. Add the cost into the price you will settle for. Ask me why I suggest this.:o Skidog can answer for me.

Seems like that might take some of the "adventure" out of traveling to pick up a boat, don't you think?

Reminds me of Harold's boat.

Reminds me of my old 1990! Very similar, interior was slightly different. For a price range, if as good as it looks (no lurking issues), I'd place it at around $8500. What do you guys think?

This was mine.

Absolutely. I did this for my old boat's new owner in Texarkana during the delivery. :o

Asked and paid cash for this favor from my current boat's previous owner prior to sale.

I'll second this question. Just about the most important bit of information in a for sale thread.

Nice looking boat, by the way.

Cost me over $400 for 2 new tires road side on the trip from SC to GA. I was hoping it would make the 3 hour trip and I was going to have them changed in GA before shipping it up to MA. Good thing the guy towing it was such a good sport about the ordeal. Poor bastard had to wait a few hours on the side of the road.
