My company is sending me to Baltimore next week for business. We will be staying close to the airport. Anybody know of anything fun to do around there?

Watch out for the Crabs. Inner Harbour is always a good time.

If you have a bunch of time to kill, Annapolis is very cool.

In town, there's the Maritime Museum and the USS Constilation.

If you're looking for a good place to eat close by, go to Gunnings. It's a seafood place one exit south of BWI on the Baltimore Washington Pkwy (exit toward the west and you'll see it in the small strip mall on the left). Nothing fancy, but a good traditional Maryland seafood house. Get the crabcakes. They are HUGE, delicious and not much filler. I used to stop in there all the time before getting on the plane to fly home to Orlando.

For downtown, go to the Inner Harbor. If you're a race fan, the NASCAR 3-D IMAX movie at the MD Science Center (Inner Harbor) is a must-see, if it's still playing there. Also, if you can make it during the day, I highly recommend a harbor cruise.

Also, Annapolis might be worth a side trip one evening after work. About 45 minutes away. Neat nautical town on the Chesapeake.

Might want to hit Berthas. It's a pretty cool place to eat. (get a eat Berthas mussels bumper sticker for the MC :D )

Watch your back Baltimore is as nasty as any big city. I avoid it at all costs myself. Hopkins is a top notch hospital if you happen to get caught in a drive by (jk) Have fun!

Old timer Tom LOL! I beleive that Hammerjacks is underneath M+T stadium (Ravens stadium) or something like that. I think there is a new Hammerjacks somewhere down there but it sure aint the old one :toast: The dealership I work for is a few miles west of Baltimore...

Figured somebody would've stumpled in there and would get the joke. That place was like costco.

Lots of people say Fells Point is the place to go for bars, nightlife, etc. But I think it's overrated. Just a bunch of old crummy bars IMO. Inner Harbor is the best place to go...
