lashburn1

Wife and Girls were going through Zillions of GoPro and iPhone pics and Videos from last summer looking for an X-Mas Photo...
We all ended up watching this a few times instead....
It proved to be the anchor reason to stay with Boating and Get a MasterCraft...

What I like Most about edited , music overdubbed, videos.... Is , it's all hightlights "Best of" footage, you can't here kids saying " I want something to Drink, Eat, can we go tubing, or I'm bored"....
We even fooled ourselves with this edit.
But YES, it really was an awesome trip, only achieved with a boat.

I didn't know it was OK to surf behind jet boats. I have been telling my friend for years to never surf behind his Yamaha. Was I wrong?

Yes, you're far enough away from the jets that they are safe to surf behind. My previous boat was an AR210 and we surfed behind it. The wave, of course, is not as good as a v drive but with some ballast is still surfable. Over on yamahajetboaters.com there's lots of pics of people surfing and adding ballast systems to their boats for surfing.

Jet Boats- no big deal, just not very fun as wake has a lot of wash in it....
Stern Drive or I/O boats....not so safe for Surfers...some places it is not allowed at all.

We sold our brand new 2013 Yamaha, largely for the desire to Surf cleaner wake...

For the most part, it is the same group of riders that have been involved in AL INT for several years. What that means is that you get to see a lot of inverts and 360+ spins. You never know the running order ahead of time (so you can see the best and not stay all day) but there are a couple of riders that are throwing some major tricks.

I don't know who it was but someone did a double flip and landed it. I don't go to other tournaments so don't know how to compare, but it was pretty incredible.

I enjoyed looking at all of these pics. I have realized that our low of 30 is not so bad after seeing what some of you choose to live in. I too miss summer greatly, especially when I see the lack of water in the lake right now, and this is not the lowest it will be. Still another two feet from this point.

Your best bet is to rent a home on the lake. A lot of home owners rent their homes out. You'll find that these homes most often also have a dock and boat-lift. You can launch at the public ramp. Lake June is 5 minutes up the road from Lake Placid and just as nice.

Ok this is a new one . We are forecast to have wind chills Monday -50 to -70 and all schools will be closed . That's normal but what isn't is someone told me the local Walmart will be closed .
For those of you boating on Lake placid look out for the giant alligators
