SOLD PLEASE DELETE THREAD
I bought a new Mastercraft and I am selling mine. I love this boat but it was time for an upgrade. It is a 2008 Mastercraft X2 priced at $48,900.00, 231 hours on it, perfect pass, ballast, and a warranty still left on it until 2015. I have not had any problems with it. It was just winterized and had an oil change. The only flaw that is on the boat is a rub from the dock on the driverside. It is through the sticker not the paint they quoted me 550.00 to fix. I clean it after each use and it is stored in a heated garage. It has carpet as well just not in the pictures. It has never been stored on a lift. Call me if you have any questions. 269-944-6015. Thank you Adam PRICE CHANGE - $47,500.00 Trading in 15 days.

Incredible looking boat. Love the colors. This should sell quick.

BTW if that is your garage, could you adopt me by chance? That is cleanest, largest, most pristene garage I've ever seen.

LOL Thank you for the compliment on my garage. everything I own I try to keep in excellent condition. I hope the boat sells quick. Honestly for the money it is a really nice boat that has been well maintained. I've been offered 45k on trade but figured I would try to sell her myself. They are going to turn around and make 10% on it. I guess we will see.

It also has underwater lights and the teak was just re-oiled at the beginning of summer. I still have that option I haven't picked up the new boat yet. I will come out ahead if I can get it sold for anything above 47500.00. Otherwise I guess I will trade it.

Good looking boat So what did you buy to relace it?

I'm going with another x2. Our lake is a smaller inland lake and anything bigger than a 21ft boat would be a little to big. It's just me and my wife so works well I suppose. I have been extremely happy with mastercraft.

I just bought a used X30 and went through the whole buying process. That is a good price on a 2008 X2. I don't remember coming across many X2s that new under $50K. Someone should jump on that deal.

I am thinking it is priced fair. We will see. I am going to trade it before the end of the year if it doesn't sell. I want my new boat sitting in my garage not on the show room floor. Lol.

Sweet boat and you have enough room in that garage for more toys!

My original plan was to wait and try to make a little more money on my boat at 48900.00. I think I am going to just trade it in. $47,500.00 makes me break even with the tax trade allowance they are giving me and the trade price, so if someone wants it for that I will sell it. It really does not matter to me but I can guarantee it would be a nice boat at a nice price for someone. So $47,500.00 is final if not I guess I will throw some pictures of the new boat on when I get her. I have about 15 days before I deliver it to my dealer as a trade/down payment.

$47,500 is at the upper end of what an '08 X2 is worth IMO. Getting $47,500 (factoring the sales tax) is doing really well.

I suppose, I am by no means a professional at this. I just thought it seemed like a good price judging what a new one costs. I didn't see anything on here that looked to par so I guess with that said I'll trade it in.

With a trade offer at the level I wouldn't even blink... considering the hassle free transaction. There's plenty of downside trying to go private sale. Scheduling viewings.. dealing with scammers.. tire kickers etc.. Then the time and trouble to ensure a safe transaction. It would have to be several thousand dollars benefit to go private before I'd think it would be worth the while..

I agree. It's always drilled into buyers not to buy until you've test driven, boarded, ski'd, surfed, etc. Selling my X14 was a pain in the ***. Until a real customer came along. The few before that wasted hours of my time.

Boats traded! Thank you.

Congrats. I think that was a good decision.

It seems the x2s are actually going up in price from what I've seen recently. At least in prime season which will be here sooner than we might expect. One look at the price of a new one and $42 - $47 for the right boat doesn't seem all that bad anymore.

not sure if you will see this but thought I would try.

I bought your 2008 and was wondering if the owners manual was available?

I've only been out twice but love the boat so far.

Thanks for taking good care of it.
