M6450 - JL Audio 6-Channel 45W RMS x 6Class A/B marine Amplifier

Took this out of my X45 when the channels started going bad. Sent it to the factory to get refurbished and now good as new!

Asking $370 shipped.

Maybe....how difficult would it be to add this to my existing system (Clarion CMD4A) with four factory speakers? I think it would just plug into the RCA jacks and I would have to run a power wire to the battery correct? How difficult would it be to also power and wiring two tower speakers to this set up? I'm not much of an audiophile.

I would say in cabin speakers and the last two bridged for a sub. Need lots of power for tower speakers. You are correct rca and power and ground to the amp

I do not have a sub and really do not plan on adding one

basically your current speakers are wired directly into the cmd4a wiring harness. you would cut these 8 wires and run them to the amp speaker output. you would then run rcas from the cmd4a speaker output to the amplifier input. then run power and ground from battery to the amp. you will need to tie remote wire from cmd4a wiring harness to the amp as well.

you could run power to tower speakers off the last 2 channels of amplifier but cbryan70 is correct in saying you need more power to tower speakers if you are wanting to hear them while riding 80 ft back. the jl oem tower speakers take 150w a piece fyi so would recommend an additional amp just for tower speakers. giving the tower speakers only 45w I imagine you may be able to hear a couple feet back if you were surfing
