Definition of Nautique is Nautical.

There is no irony......it does not say Correct Craft.

It only shows that Correct Craft OWNS the word Nautique. ;)

It's all in you mind.

MasterCraft Rocks, that's why they use the boats.

Wait a minute... So I can buy a late 80's Prostar, move to Turks and Caicos with it, and rent it to people for $1250 a day?!

Think I can get $1500 a day for my Star?

Any Idea how much fuel costs there! let alone cost of living adjustment. Besides Turks and Caicos ain't cheep to visit we looked into 7 night @ Beaches resort and was going to cost $8500 for 3 people. Way beyond my budget.

Honestly, those aren't much different then renting at lake Okanogan. Thousand a day for a 45 there.

Turks + Caicos is beautiful......but pricey in all respects.....

The salt water devours the ski boats....maintenance is non-stop i have heard.

Ever try to get MC parts shipped to the Caribbean ???

Well, back from the Providenciales trip. More pics to come.

I have to give thumbs up to Club Med and Flamingo Divers... I will say, that all inclusive was the ONLY way to go. The two I know of were Club Med and Beaches. I wanted an affordable resort, Beaches was $$$$. Flamingo Divers, I chose due to the personalized service and the small groups – max of 8 on a boat.

We toured the island from top to bottom on Sunday. We hit Bugaloos, and 2 entree’s and 4 drinks later, we walked out for $94! Ouch! We then hit Da Conch Shack, their self proclaimed famous ‘rum punch’ – was meh.... We also due to reviews dropped in on “Somewhere...” Chips/salsa was $6 and the salsa sucked, the chips were stale. The 2 frozen margaritas were $11.50 ea and tasted like an ice slushy with a tinge of lime... We sent them back and let them know they were by far the absolute worst margaritas we’d ever had.

We dove with Caicos Adventures the last day, and what a difference that was from Flamingo. On one hand, we got lucky – very nice 40 ft dive boat and only 9 divers... And we went to French Key – lots of sharks and critters there. On the other hand, the staff was totally unprofessional – I think it was one of the owners. The internal squabbles among the staff and politics spilled into the customer experience. Even getting back to our hotel was a hellish experience – waiting for the Caicos Adventures bus to arrive, followed by a 30 minute wait in the bus at the dive boat area, followed by a trip to the dive shop to pay... I think the bus driver / part owner was drunk and taking wrong turns... IDK...

We were very happy to get back to our all inclusive resort, i’ll say that.

Provo ranks up there in the top 1-2 beaches I’ve ever been on – the sand was so white and soft it felt like flour.

More pics later, here’s a few teasers:

My wife and I were just in t&c in early November. It is absolutely beautiful. We too thought it was hysterical that nautique sports uses MasterCraft. We saw the owner driving around the island in a black suburban decked out with MasterCraft stickers.

We found one of nautique sports beat down x-stars. This boat is a really sad site... the interior was completely destroyed. I'm glad I don't have a picture of the interior - it is too sad.

First of all the name "Nautique Sports" was given by the original instructor. He speaks French and "nautique" means "water" in French. So "Water" Sports is a reasonable name no? The company is a well established company on island so when I bought it this year I kept the name.

Second the 2007 X-Star was a great boat that put over 2500 hard saltwater hours on it before she gave out. She hasn't seen the water in a couple years. It is not cost effective on our island to bring in a new engine and costs to much to ship to try to sell off island. It has become spare parts for the X45 (which most of them are used already).

Check out our website or Facebook to see the pictures of the boats that we actually use.

Hope you had a good trip on our beautiful island and if you want to come see the actual boats on the water give me a call.

Nautique Sports - please do not take any of my posts as a commentary on your business or how you take care of your equipment. I was only trying to say that the boat I saw was at one time a beautiful boat. I'm sure she got plenty of great use and I completely understand how expensive it would be to maintain a boat down there.

It was very awesome to see a MasterCraft when I was at t&c. Also loved seeing the Tahoe loaded with MasterCraft stickers.
