These pics were taken on the Fox River in St. Charles. 3 TMC members: Sassydog, Rockman, and myself all got together and braved the chilly waters for some late season barefooting. :D

I took this picture about a week ago. Rick and a friend were winterizing our MC so I hitched a ride in his brother's TriStar and took pictures of our kids exercising their feet.

Damn guess its time to pick up a boom. Dunno about hopping in the st. charles river ych. Might as well use the sanitation cannals. LoL, just kidding, at school we ski the Iowa River, If you fall you can stand up and be in waist deep, but then the mud'll suck you in.

Funny you should mention that in the post following a pic from Footstock. For a northern Wisconsin lake, that is one nasty body of water.

The lake we ski on in MI is crystal clear as in you see stuff on the bottom in 20+ feet of water. I must profess, i strongly dislike getting into anything w/ seaweed, or where i cannot see what i'm in.. I'll do it, just gets me out of the water a bit faster.

It isn't really that bad around where we ski. The water is not clean, but the bottom is either sand or stone depending on where you are.

Our lake up North is crystal clear, spring fed, and nice sandy bottom. Can't beat it, but beggers can't be choosers and the fox is the best I can do when home.

You get used to murky water. You probably wouldn't like skiing around here much. Can't see your hand when it is 6 inches under the water :eek3: !

Murky/dirty water is one thing, but weeds and crap touching your legs is another. I hate weeds.
