Hey starman,
I just got this too, and have made and appointment to order the new boat today. Don't want to risk a fine.:toast::rant:

My friend had a radio show in PHX dealing with car problems, service, troubleshooting, etc. When they were talking about the Cash Fro Clunkers BS, someone said they were waiting for a 'Dollars For Dishwashers' program.

What happens when you get too old for your boat? Or your boat just costs too much to keep up? Will they convene a panel and make you move onto a boat with other people too old for boats? Here these hapless, boatless people will get to "take the pill" and rid the world of the excess boatless population.

I think that would qualify as a Cadillac boat so you will have to pay an excise tax to keep it! Of course, if you wanted to trade it for a Sea Ray with a large hole in the bottom, that would keep you out of trouble. Since the lakes will be too crowded with all the new boats, having one with a large hole will not be noticable as noone will be able to use their boat anyway.

Why is it, if you substitute anything for health care in the Affordable Health Care Act, it just sound absurd?

You can also order by phone! Oh that's right, your order still has to go thru the same network. It will be fixed by the end of November.

Just showed this new law to the wife. "Honey I don't like it as much as you, but you can't fight the government." Where's that 2014 brochure?

There's a clause you may have to get a Carolina Skiff... you may not need a Skiff - but you may have to have payments for one... :D :D :D
