I have a 2002 xstar with the zero flex tower. I am changing my Bimini top to the above the tower kind. This black Bimini has all the parts to connect it to the tower. The material of the top and the cover (boot) are in new shape, no fading, no rips. The poles touch each other when it is folded up, so those have some rub marks on them, but no damage. Comes with everything you need to instal by yourself. $350 obo plus shipping. Call or text Dan @ 801-891-9308

Do you have a pic available with it folded up in the cover please?

I will dig one up at home and post it in a few hours. It follows the curve and height of the tower on the back side of the tower when folded up.

Here is a couple of pictures I have of the Bimini in the travel position. This photos are from a few years ago, but this gives you an idea of what it looks like folded up.

Darn, day late and a dollar short :D Just out of curiosity, why are you switching to the over the tower setup? New Dimensions Bimini?

I went to the vinyl shop to have them lower the center bar to accommodate the bigger speakers and they talked me into a custom one they make like the new dimension one. I liked the idea of the top having over 6 1/2 feet of clearance. We boat with some taller folks, so I guess they caught me at a weak moment. I'll post some pictures when it's complete.

Please do, thanks. I look forward to seeing it up. I am obviously looking for one for my '02 star, as it didn't come with one. I will be putting Rev 8's on my tower asap, so I was concerned that the OEM bimini wouldn't allow room....so maybe I might go the over the tower route...

The OEM windshield mounted bimini will fit fine with rev 8s. It's pretty low and gives you a lot of shade. The headroom on the over the tower biminis is nice, but they don't off as much shade.
