You sound close. What lake are you on. We are on Smith(Rock Creek-Crooked Creek).
Thanks for the compliment, btw.

At the beginning of this summer, in fact the OPENING slalom run of the summer, I broke my hip in a fall. The surgeon tells me my slalom days are over. SO, I'm going to get a purely wakeboard/surfing boat. The 209/X9 was a perfect combo of a relatively flat slalom wake and a pretty decent wakeboard/surfing wake. But since I won't be using the slalom anymore, I decided to go with a V drive.

Yeah, I've always been a little anal about the boat, although I can't hold a candle to others I've seen on this site! They should be master detailers.

Yeah I agree. Best lines ever on a MC boat ever.
You pay the price if you roll at speed through your own rollers, but it is worth it.
Especially if there is someone you don't like in the bow at the time.

What would it cost for me to buy end of the season?

skitilldark
11-04-2013, 03:47 PM
I won't be taking delivery of the new boat until late may. The dealer has given me until the end of march to try and sell this boat. If I haven't sold it by then he is going to take it as a trade in.
I could ask him if he would let me push that time, but I am assuming he wants it in early April to give himself time to sell it before the season starts.

Wow, sharp looking boat! I can't believe it's an '01. You wouldn't by chance be interested in parting with your jump seat as a separate sale?

If I don't sell it here first, I will check with the dealer on that to see if he will let me trade it in without it. Thanks for looking.

It's a great one. And if you turn up the stereo too loud I'm pretty sure it will kill fish.

Beautiful boat! What price are you trying to get before you trade in? Where are you located in the Southeast? We are in the market for a V-drive or direct drive in your price range - looking at X9, X1, X2, 205V.

I don't think so, I think he contacted me through the boat trader ad (although he IS a Mastercraft nut). He has a 205 that he is selling. Can't remember what year though.

I know the feeling, when I sold my ski centurion that I had for 19 years and as I watched it hauled away I turned and looked at my new to me X9 and I instantly felt better. Only a few more months until May!!!!

In the last week there were three serious buyers. Two were willing to pay 26k, but I had already committed to the guy who eventually (test drove it first and made the first offer)bought it for 25k. Considering the stereo I think it was a major steal. Hated to lose the extra grand but I had already committed to him first.

Its nice to hear about someone that sticks to their word. I can't even count the number of boats that have been sold out from under me after either shaking on a deal or placing a deposit.

Yeah, sorry about that chris. The shipping to you is astronomical! I feel for everyone down there having to pay that extra fee on top of an already expensive boat! If i can help you from here for anything else please let me know!

Spencer is an awesome guy and I had no hesitation in buying a boat from him from half way around the world.

Yeah, shipping is expensive, but even with that included, it's still MUCH cheaper than buying one locally!.

Cheers,

Chris
